Relevant SDGs
CATALYSADE was awarded a tender by GIZ to design a conceptual framework and business models for three thematic RTDI Centres in priority sectors—food, packaging, and pharmaceuticals—aimed at strengthening Jordan’s sectoral innovation capacity and competitiveness.
The project is designed to support the Government in mobilizing funding and attracting investment for the establishment of these centres, while also preparing the necessary enabling conditions for their effective operation, including ecosystem development and stakeholder alignment.
In parallel, the project includes the design of an Early Warning System to systematically detect early signs of financial distress, structural weaknesses, or systemic risks among firms—particularly MSMEs and, where relevant, high-risk start-ups—before such risks materialize into bankruptcies, employment losses, or broader sectoral disruptions.
